Sharon Kay Frye's Obituary
Sharon Kay Frye, 77, of Milton, WV born June 4, 1948, passed away peacefully at her home on June 20, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald E. Frye; mother and father, Frank, and Thelma Rose; siblings, Charles Franklin Rose, Ava Jean Wright, James Rose, and Hallie Nance; daughter, Pamela Frye; and brother-in-law, Frank Nance. Sharon is survived by her daughter, Felisha Dunlap; sons, Mathew Meadows (Ginella Meadows), and David Frye (Terrie Frye); grandchildren, Taylor Lavado, Megan Meadows, Makeyla Meadows, Sara Layne, Benjamin Wilks, Micah Brunty, and Cody Frye; ten great grandchildren; and two great great grandbabies. Sharon was a proud 1967 graduate of Milton High School. She lived her life by her own rules, with many adventures and no regrets. Her true happiness as on her swing in her backyard with her five beloved cats. An intimate gathering will be held in her home on June 25, 2025, with her wonderful neighbors, immediate family and her close friends. She is being cremated, her and her husband’s ashes will then be placed together at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV.
