Sharon Lee Heffner's Obituary
Sharon Lee Heffner, 76, of Chesapeake, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 11, 2025, at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born August 22, 1948, in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Junior and Verla Bowles. Her husband, Ralph Heffner, and her sister, JoAnn Vanover also preceded her in death. She was a member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church for many years. Sharon is survived by three children, Susan (Randy) Kilgore of Huntington, WV, Judy (Rodney) Childers of Huntington, WV and Tom Heffner of Chesapeake, Ohio. Her favorite thing to do was being a nanny to eight grandchildren, Jeremy (Jennifer) Kilgore, Jacob (Meredith) Kilgore, Jessica Kilgore, Brittany Childers, Christopher Childers, Courtney Clark, Caitlin (James) Bantaa, Caleb (Brooke) Heffner; eleven great grandchildren, Wesley, Jackson, Avery, Oaklynn, Camryn, Cooper, Rhett, Maci, Lincoln, Millie and Belle; and a special cousin, Tommy Taylor. Funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church, Chesapeake, Ohio with Pastor Brian Schneider officiating. Burial will follow in Getaway Cemetery, Chesapeake, Ohio. Visitation will be held 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the church.
