Sheila Elaine Brizendine's Obituary
Sheila Elaine Brizendine, 54, of Proctorville, OH, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on March 22, 2023 after a brief illness with Cancer. Sheila attended Rose of Sharon Church in Proctorville, OH. She loved sitting around fires on summer nights listening to music. She always loved the band KISS and was able to attend a KISS tribute band concert earlier this month. She also enjoyed sitting around coloring and keeping her nails done. She also loved collecting dragonflies. She was born March 9, 1969 to the late Christine and Raymond Scarberry and Judson Myers. She was also preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Johnson; brother, Judson Howard Myers; maternal grandparents, Manford and Genevieve Spurlock; her paternal grandparents, Roy and Florence Myers and her beloved pet of 16 years, Tori Jo. Sheila is survived by her two daughters, Nataisha (Travis) Martin of Sorrento, Fl and Martika Brizendine (Joey Comer) of Huntington, WV and a grandson Kian Martin of Sorrento, FL; three sisters, Sherri (Allen) Dennison, Christy Myers (Dennis Thevenin) of Proctorville, OH and Cheryl (Randy) Clay of South Point, OH; two brothers, Travis (Bryanna) Myers of Willow Wood, OH and Dwayne Scarberry (Anita Bentley) of Scottown, OH; nieces, Destinee (Shawn) Cremeans, Jordyn Myers of Willow Wood, OH, Akrista Burks, Bailey Kisner and Jennifer Lee of Proctorville, OH, Elizabeth (Tim) Wentz of Chesapeake, OH, and Jordan Scarberry of Indiana; nephews, Adam (Tonya) Myers, Weston Myers of Willow Wood, OH, Jeff (Rachel) McClure of Huntington, WV; Kendall Clay of Proctorville, OH and Trenton, Jessie and Steven Scarberry of Indiana; several great nieces and nephews; special great niece on the way, Lily Shay Cremeans; special friends, Donna Phillips, Nikki Roach, Jeri Riggle, Donna Crisp, Brittany, Nick, and many more. There will not be a visitation service but the family will be having a memorial service/dinner at the Rose of Sharon Church fellowship hall in Proctorville, OH on Saturday March 25, 2023 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made toward funeral expenses at Hall Funeral Home & Crematory in Proctorville, OH.
