Shirley Marie Dawson, 75, of South Point, OH, passed away on October 12, 2025, along with her best friend and beloved dog, Bella. Born on September 25, 2025, in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of Norma Faye Shroyer. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Dawson; nephew, Jimmy Dawson, and her brothers-in-law, Edward D. Dawson and John L. Dawson. She is survived by her mother, Norma F. Shroyer; siblings, Donna, Nella, and Steve; brothers-in-law, Kenneth D. (Donna) Dawson and Richard S. (Anna) Dawson; sister-in-law, Carol Dawson’ 3 nieces, Heather Minnix, Beverly Queen, and Christine Dawson, and nephew, Edward Dawson. Shirley lived with her dog, Bella, who was her constant companion for the last 2 years since the loss of her husband, Robert. She was an avid reader and loved to go shopping at Sam’s Club.
