Skylar Joseph Corbin's Obituary
Skylar Joseph Corbin, 31, of Pedro, OH, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born December 13, 1992, in Huntington, WV. Skylar was a 2011 graduate of Rock Hill High School and attended Collins Career and Technical Center for courses in welding.
Skylar was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Corbin; paternal grandparents, Clancy and Laura Corbin; maternal grandparents, John and Dana Mae Gullett; three uncles, Alfred Rife, Harry Gullett and John Corbin and aunt, Barbara Imes. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Maralynda and William "Bill" Wilburn; four brothers, Austin Willis (Kaitlyn), William "Wil" James Wilburn, II, George "G.W." (Morgan) Wise and Shelby Andrew "Drew" Tate; two sisters, Jessica "Jessie" Wilburn and Savannah Wise (George Wilson); aunt and uncle, Daisy and Ben Smith; Uncle Donnie and Anna Corbin; cousin, Brandon Wicker and nephew, Jayce Owen Wise.
A funeral will take place at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to service from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm with Pastor David Dillon officiating. Burial will follow at Hanging Rock Cemetery.
