Stacy Marie Dickess' Obituary
Stacy Marie Melvin Dickess, age 50, passed away on October 22, 2025. She was born on January 8, 1975, in Huntington, West Virginia, to James and Ruth Stephenson Melvin. Stacy was a proud and devoted member of Central Church of the Nazarene where she faithfully attended, led worship, and served on the church board for many years. She loved the Lord with her whole heart and lived her life as a shining example of His love—sharing kindness, encouragement, and blessings with everyone she met. For thirty years, Stacy worked as a dedicated nurse at St. Mary’s Medical Center, compassionately serving patients and families in the Intensive Care Units. Her gentle spirit, caring heart, and unwavering faith touched countless lives both inside and outside the hospital. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard William Dickess; her daughters, Delaney (Brody) Blackwell and Raegan Dickess; her parents, James and Ruth Melvin; her brothers, Jay (Elizabeth) Melvin and Timothy Melvin; her sister-in-law, Kimberly (Scott) Coffman; and her beloved nephews and niece, Jonah, Isabelle, and Gatlin Melvin, and Logan Coffman. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, October 27, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH. A burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Ironton, OH. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at Hall Funeral Home.
