Stanford E. Fulks Sr.'s Obituary
Stanford E. Fulks Sr., 100, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away Tuesday November 18, 2025, at home surrounded by his family. He was born June 19, 1925, In Platform, Ohio son of the late James H and Olive Dillon Fulks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Gloria Carter Fulks and his second wife Nellie Eileen Brumfield Fulks; son Stanford “Eddie” Fulks, Jr.; two daughters Donna Collins and Pamela Calhoun; two brothers William and Harding Fulks; sister Fern Lewis. When he turned 18, he enlisted in the Army and served in WWII as a sharpshooter in the 36th Engineer Combat group. He worked for Republic Steel in Canton for nearly 40 years. He loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. He is survived by three granddaughters Carla (Ed) Broyles, Cheryl (Chris) Snyder and Misha (Codie) Lloyd; two grandsons Shaun Calhoun and RJ Calhoun; eight great grandkids; and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, November 21, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
