Stella Runyon Robinson's Obituary
Stella Runyon Robinson, 77, of South Point, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, at home. Born on April 29, 1946, in Mingo County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Martha Hunt Thacker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rush Runyon; daughter, Brenda Lou; brothers, Hershel, Harmon, Albert, John Lewis Thacker and Frank Messer; sister, Nancy Runyon Merrett Thacker, and grandsons, Spankey Maynard and Charlie Thacker. She is survived by her sons, Rush E. and Betty Runyon, Noie and Tami Runyon, Daryl Runyon, Rush "Butts" and Tiffany Runyon, and Michael and Tina Runyon; daughters, Willa and Harold Maynard and Linda Thacker; grandchildren, Samuel, Rush, James (Christa), Charles (Bridgette), Stella Coleman, Angel (Don) Reid, Noel O'Bryan, Linda (Brian) Ward, Harold and Spankey Maynard, Nole, Albert Runyon, Terry, Andrew, Hope Runyon, Rebekah Runyon and David Dillow, Mariah Runyon, Naomi Runyon, Michael Runyon, Amy Halterman and several greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Ray Curry, and sister, Florence Adkins. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Jesus Church, 9136 Private Drive 10, County Road 1, South Point, Ohio, with Pastor Rita Muncy, officiating. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, February 2, 2024, at the church. Burial will follow at Burlington Greenlawn Cemetery in South Point, Ohio.
