Stephen A. Carter's Obituary
Stephen A. Carter, 85, of Ashland, KY passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026, at King’s Daughter’s Medical Center in Ashland, KY. He was born June 25, 1940, in Lesage, WV to the late Corbett and Josie Carter. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers Bill and George Carter; four sisters Dorothy Roach, Mildred Carter, Bernice Carter, and Rose Marie; one daughter Kimberly Dawn; and four grandchildren. He retired from Houdaille Industries. He is survived by his wife Deborah Carter; two daughters Sabrina Fraley, Tammy Maynard; one son Larry Carter; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two brothers Bruce Carter and Corbett Carter, II; two sisters Sherry Carter, Evelyn Carter; several nieces and nephews.
