Stephen Michael Gue's Obituary
Stephen Michael Gue, 67, of Lesage WV, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023. Steve was born on December 13,1955, in West Hamlin, WV, a son of the late Lyle Gue and Barbara Hutchison Gue. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Anthony Wayne and Gladys Ruth Hancock Hutchison; paternal grandparents, Saul and Florence Dilley Gue; two sisters, Tammy Plybon and Sue Gue; nephew, Mackenzie Plybon; niece, Bethcinda Plybon, and brother-in-laws John Gray and Frank Plybon. Steve was survived by his loving sister, Rita Gray of Franklin Furnace, OH; six nieces and nephews, Barbara (Dustin) Cochran of Wellston, OH, Frank Plybon Jr. of Willow Wood, OH, Amanda (Blaine) Voiers of Ironton, OH, Tony (Joni) Gray of Franklin Furnace, OH, and Cassie Huff of Huntington, WV, Paula Gray of FL; and thirteen great nieces and nephews; Izabella Plybon-Cochran, Dustin Cochran II, Anastasia Cochran, Lake Voiers, Oaklan Voiers, Ridge Voiers, Frank Plybon III, Jonathon Plybon, Allie Plybon, Morgan Plybon, Bethcinda Huff, Landon Huff, and Shyann Huff. Steve enjoyed traveling, cooking, and taking vacations with his family and friends. Steve always lived life on the edge with his loud music, fast cars, and living day by day. He had such a sense of humor and a smile that could like up the room. His wisdom and memories that he created with his family and friends will always be cherished. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH officiated by Gordon Simpson. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
