Tamela Lynn Gibson's Obituary
Tamela Lynn Gibson, 62, of Proctorville, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 5, 2023 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Tammy was born June 4, 1961 in Charleston, WV. She was a graduate of Marshall University and former Pharmacy Technician at St. Mary's Medical Center. Tammy loved spending time with her family, doing arts and crafts, gardening and especially loved her dog, Lucy. She will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Shaffer. She is survived by her mother, Betty Shaffer; two sisters, Jody (Charlie) Shaffer-Mitchell and Angela Shaffer-Smith; her ex-husband of 23 years, Wayne Gibson; two sons, Jarrett (Magen) Gibson and Seth (Jamie) Gibson; three grandsons, Jonah, Mason and Wyatt Gibson. They will miss their Mimi and the wonderful time they had with her. She brought great joy to their lives as well as nieces and nephews, Megan, Kailee, Zachary and Madison. She also left behind her loving friend, Linda. There will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
