Thelma E. Mabry's Obituary
Thelma E. Mabry, 56, of Huntington, WV went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. She was born July 10, 1963 in Huntington, WV daughter of Billie Ruth Day and Michael Daughtery. She graduated from South Point High School. She married the late Robert Mabry on December 30, 1984 and worked at Sears Distribution Center in Columbus, Ohio. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son Jerome Antwaine Yancey; and her sister Beatrice Devor Yancey. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her mother and father, and her daughter Courtnie Mabry; seven grandchildren Jayvone Mabry-Wheeler, Jamiere Mabry-Wheeler, Nijzae Mabry, Desiree Woodrick, Jaylyn Woodrick, Jerome Antwaine Yancey, II, and Aryah Anne-Lane Freels; very special friend and significant other Rodney L. Cochran; one nephew Tai Yancy; two nieces Stacie D. Yancey and Andrea Crews; a host of great nieces and nephews; and numerous family members and friends. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Encouragers Fellowship Church 1630 Doulton Avenue Huntington, WV 25701 with Bishop Gary Edwards and Pastor Phyllis Martin officiating, Charles Hughes, Sr and David Wade serving as vocalists and program reader will be Stacy Metcalf. A balloon release will follow the service. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
