Thelma Jean Shepherd's Obituary
Thelma Jean Shepherd, 82, of Willow Wood, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Sunday October 31, 2021 at home. She was born August 19, 1939 in Tudor Key, KY to the late Buford and Nellie Vanhoose Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Buford Taylor Jr. and Carl Taylor; and two sisters Anna Bonice and Mary Chillders. She is survived by her husband Leeman H. Shepherd; one son Randy Shepherd (Kimberly); two grandsons Sheldon and Chandler Shepherd; three brothers James, Leo, and Charlie Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. She loved going to flea markets, consignment shops, antiques, gardening, sewing, making crafts and enjoyed reminiscing of the old times "good ole days." She enjoyed talking of her homeplace, and sitting on the porch with her husband, her soul mate, whom she loved very much. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday November 5, 2021 at Hatfield Shepherd Cemetery Willow Wood, Ohio. There will be no visitation.
