Thomas J. Senella's Obituary
Thomas J. Senella, 61, of South Point, OH was called to be with the Lord on April 8, 2019. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Senella Sr. and Edith Senella, as well as, his aunt, Mrs. Malta "Molly" Gohn. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Jennifer; loving children, Drew, Samantha and Sarah; grandchildren, Mikayla, Josie and Samuel; mother-in-law, Kay; cousins, Skip Dicamillo and The Dicamillo Family of Niagra Falls, NY; special cousin, Will Scarbro; his two best friends that he considered brothers, Tom R. hall of Ironton, OH and Kenneth Bak of Niagra falls, NY. And a special thank you to Mark Bentley. Tom was born in Windber, PA area in 1958 and graduated from Duquesne University.Tom was an amatuer historian, having been a volunteer at Old Fort Niagra in Ypungstown, NY for several years. He was an Army veteran of three conflicts: Grenada, Panama and the first Gulf War. He spent time in the 3rd Ranger Battalion and was a company commander in 10th Mountain Division. He was a former policeman in NY and in PA. Tom was a dedicated and hard working man who cared deeply for those close to him. He had many friends and was a loyal man. He could make anyone laugh and was always there for those who needed him. A Memorial Service will be held at 7pm on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home in Chesapeake, OH with Tom Hall officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 pm - 7 pm on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home. Ceredo-Kenova VFW will conduct Military rites.
