Tucker McQuaid's Obituary
Tucker Lee McQuaid of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away peacefully December 29th 2018, in Santa Rosa, California. Tucker was born in Cabell County West Virginia on July 21, 1977. He was preceded in death by his parents Joyce A. Chinn and Terrance E. McQuaid, his maternal grandparents Bub and Jody Chinn, his paternal grandfather Eugene McQuaid, three Uncles; David E. Chinn, Gregory A. Chinn, Carl E. McQuaid, and one Aunt Karen S. Pauley. Tucker is survived by his daughter Caitlin B. Hammonds (Zach Bowe) of South Point, Ohio; his son Tucker Lee McQuaid II of Pendleton IN, his high school sweetheart Mandy Smith of South Point, OH, his two sisters Terri (Michael) Hornbuckle of Springfield Va, and Lori (Chris) Mayenschein of Ashland KY. He was "Uncle Tucker" to Kailee, Jasmine, Brayden, Wyatt, Kylie and Christopher. Paternal Grandmother Theresa L. McQuaid of South Point, OH. Also surviving is the mothers of his children, Regina Adkins of Chesapeake, OH and Chassidy Smith of Pendleton, IN, aunts and uncles, cousins, countless childhood friends, and new friends. Tucker had a kind and gentle heart which made him the perfect candidate to coach the football and baseball in the Chesapeake Community. He treasured every practice and game he got to spend with his kids. He was known for the ability to relate and teach each child he came in contact with. Pastor Greg Tomlinson will be blessing the memorial service which will be held at noon on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home in Chesapeake, Ohio. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to the Tucker McQuaid Memorial Scholarship Fund: Chesapeake Youth Football, PO Box 262 Chesapeake, OH 45619. Tucker's passion was to see every child play. With this Scholarship his dream of helping children pay for registration for football will allow all children the opportunity to play despite financial difficulties.
