Vearl D. Jessie 1932 - 2017 Vearl D. Jessie, 84, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Sunday September 3, 2017 at the VA Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born October 11, 1932 in Bluefield, WV to the late Parkis and Virgie Jane Jessie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carol Jessie and son Michael Jessie. He was a Korean Army veteran. He is survived by his daughter Patty Jessie (Kelly Dowden Jr.) of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren Kari Jessie, Jewel Dowden, Michelle Jessie, and Tony Jessie; two brothers Gene Jessie and Ted Jessie; one sister Juanita Holley; special niece Diane Henderson; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday September 8, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor John Paul Patterson. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday September 8, 2017 at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
