Venora Lucas' Obituary
Venora Lucas 1933 - 2017 Venora Lucas, 84, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born January 2, 1933 in Lincoln County, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Lucas; granddaughter Melissa Riley; and two brothers Columbus and Alfred Vance. She was a member of Lucinda Baptist Church. She is survived by four children Marsha Lucas, Dreama Dornon, Charles A. "Tony" (Cathy) Lucas, and Carl A. "Joe" Lucas (Freda Blake); six grandchildren Chad, Eric, Megan, Justin, Natalie, and Eden; several great grandchildren; and a host of half brothers and sisters. The family would like to express a special thanks to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. A funeral service will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Friday November 17, 2017 at Mildred Baptist Church, Branchland, WV by Pastor Darrell Fowler. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery Branchland, WV. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday November 17, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
