Vera Louise Clark 1925 - 2017
Vera Louise Clark, 91, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Wyngate at Rivers Edge, Proctorville, Ohio. She was born September 27, 1925 in Leroy, WV daughter of the late Jennings and Lora Kelley Tolley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert R. Clark; one brother Harold Tolley; and one sister Eugenia Emerick. She is survived by one son Steve (Teresa) Clark of Proctorville, Ohio; two grandchildren Derek (Tiffany) Clark and Leslie (Rick) Wolf; four great grandchildren Braxton and Kellen Clark, and Vera and Ellis Wolf; four sisters Evelyn Pursley, Eileen Sullivan, Agnes Kierns and Margaret Congrove; several nieces and nephews; and special friend Sandra Sturgeon. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Wyngate for their care and compassion. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, February 27, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Dwayne Shugert. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Garden, Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
