Vernon Eugene Fuller's Obituary
Vernon Eugene Fuller, age 62, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at home in Barboursville, WV. 'Gene', as his family called him, was born on June 25, 1956 in Orlando, FL, the son of Vernon 'Buddy' Lee and Lorena Mae (Pigman) Fuller. He graduated from Fairland High School in 1975 and was an electrician by trade. To his family, friends, and all those who knew him, Gene will be remembered for his warm personality, sense of humor, love of rock and roll, and appreciation of nature, especially flowers. He is survived by his beloved mother and caretaker, Lorena (Pigman) Shavor; daughter, LaDawna (Fuller); two granddaughters; sister, Anita (Fuller) Gilkerson; nieces, Sarah (Harless) Coyle and Emilee Shavor; nephews, Andrew Harless and Logan Shavor; and great nephews, Gavin, Lukas, and Parker Coyle, and Maddox Harless. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife Patty (Keyes) Fuller and brother Robert Lee Shavor. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Ryan Navy at 2pm on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home in Chesapeake, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
