Virginia Lee Ramsey's Obituary
Virginia Lee Hiehle Ramsey died peacefully December 6, 2023, in Proctorville, Ohio. She was born in Wheeling West Virginia June 10, 1937, to Wilma Lee Grady Hiehle and Albert Edwin Hiehle. She graduated from South Charleston, West Virginia, High School and moved to Huntington where she met and married William M. Ramsey. She was a homemaker and worked in the family business Ramsey's Food Market. She was a volunteer at St Mary's Hospital. She was an avid bridge player. She was preceded in death by her husband William McGinnis Ramsey, granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Winfrey and great-grandson Sebastian Fultz. She is survived by her daughters Stephanie Winfrey and husband Bill (children Will Winfrey and Michael Winfrey), Marcia Adkins and fiance' Dan Flannery (children Jason Burke, Andrea Ritchie and Myranda Bailey), Elizabeth Ramsey and significant other Paulette Hawthorne and Jenny Fultz and husband Craig (children Jacob Fultz and Erica Fultz), and 6 great-grandchildren. She also leaves special friends Chreed and Martha Evans. A service to commemorate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church on Friday, December 15, 2023. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to the service hour of 11:00 am. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
