Virginia Renee Wall's Obituary
On the morning of April 23, 2020 at 6:54 a.m, at the age of 58, Virginia “Ginny” Renee (Fizer) Wall of Barboursville, WV, went to be with our Lord & Savior in her heavenly home. Ginny was born to Alfred “Al” & Phyllis Fizer on February 23, 1962 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. She was a 1980 graduate of Point Pleasant High School. She began working at GC Murphy Co, and eventually would find her calling as a heavy equipment operator. She worked for the Operating Engineers Local 132 until 2013. She gave her heart and soul to The Lord on April 30, 1972 at Krodel Park by Bellemead United Methodist Church in Point Pleasant, WV. Ginny was the loving mother of two daughters, Cassie Lynn (Sheets) Reed & Keena Renee (Sheets) Peck. She was also the proud Nana of Preslee, Laella, Colton, Brennan, Aidan, Rylan, and Garrett. Ginny’s world revolves around her children and grandchildren. She had the most loving, kind, and giving heart. A heart “bigger than Charleston!” as she would say. She loved her entire family, her friends who were more like family, and she never met a stranger. She enjoyed loving & spoiling her grand babies more than anything, her cat Sydney, traveling, the ocean, the mountains, shopping, dancing, and great music. Journey, The Eagles, CCR, REO Speedwagon, Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, and Bob Seiger just to name a few. Ginny was a free spirit and lived life to the fullest, if Heaven has a highway, she has the windows down, her sunglasses on, and the music turned up. She was never afraid, and would be the first one jumping from rock cliffs into Summersville Lake. Her happiest times were spent anywhere she was with her family. Ginny is preceded in death by her father Alfred “Al” Louis Fizer, her paternal grand parents Alfred & Virginia (Ruffner) Fizer, maternal grandparents Harold & Edith (Morrow) Bush, and special friend Vernal Dale (VD) Johnson. She is survived by her daughters, Cassie (Travis) Reed of Gallipolis, OH and Keena (Greg) Peck of Cheshire, OH. Her mother Phyllis Fizer of Barboursville, WV. Her sister Lisa (Scott) Strom of Barboursville, WV. 7 grandchildren: Preslee, Colton & Brennan Reed of Gallipolis, OH; Laella Mullins, Aidan, Rylan & Garrett Peck of Cheshire, OH. Two nephews, Solomon “Solly” Fizer of Trinity, FL and Cody Strom of Barboursville, WV. Lifelong friend and father of her children, Terry Sheets of Racine, OH. Her best friend, Connie Bowen of Ona, WV. Along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.Due to current restrictions, the family will be planning a celebration of life in Ginny’s honor to be announced at a later date. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com
