Vivian Carole King Moore's Obituary
Vivian Carole King Moore, 86, of Huntington, WV, passed away Sunday, June 14th, 2026. She was born on December 17th, 1939, to the late Raymond John King and Nina Belle Williams King, In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving brother, Larry King of New Braunfels, TX. Vivian was a graduate of Chesapeake High School. She loved traveling in from TX to her class reunions and remained friends with many of her classmates. She loved working in her garden, cooking for her family, and enjoyed her quiet time being at the pool reading a good book. Vivian was a medical transcriptionist for over 50 years. She shared her talent with the Huntington Hospital & Ohio State University. When she moved to Houston, TX, she continued in her field with Memorial Hermann Hospital at Memorial City in Houston, TX. She is survived by her son, John (Debbie) Newman of Chesapeake, OH; her daughter, Kim Moore of Houston, TX; three grandchildren, Johnathan (Shawna) Newman of Barboursville, WV, Jeffrey Dylan Moore of Austin, TX, and Kyra Nicole Moore of College Station, TX; two grandchildren, Jayce Newman and Jax Newman of Barboursville, WV; daughter- law, Tara Fisher of Tomball, TX, and sister-in-law, Linda Escalante of New Braunfels, TX. The immediate family will have a private celebration of her life. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory Proctorville, OH assisted the family with the arrangements.
