Walter Edmond Freeman's Obituary
Walter Edmond "Ed" Freeman, 61, of Chapmanville, WV passed away Thursday October 17, 2024 at his home in Huntington, WV. He was born on March 6, 1963 to his late mother Marlyine Melissa Johnson and his late father Ernest Freeman Jr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eric Freeman. Ed is survived by his daughter, Kathy Niece of Huntington; three brothers, Darrell (Donna) Freeman of Harts, WV, Charlie (Jan) Freeman of Ohio, Brett (Melissa) Johnson of Huntington, WV; two sisters, Janie (Emery) Adkins of Logan, WV, Beth (Brian) Johnson of Chapmanville, WV; sister-in-law, Sonia Freeman; uncle, Frank Chapman; special cousin, Stephen Anderson, and a host of nieces and nephews. Ed loved to enjoy life with his friends and family. His favorite past time was jammin' to music in his garage while working on cars and four wheelers. Ed was loved by many and will be missed by all of us. The family wants to thank Julie, Dee, Brooklyn and Kaitlyn at OVP Health for taking care of him and loving him like their own. Funeral Service will be conducted 6p.m. Sunday October 20, 2024 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory Proctorville, OH with Pastor Justin Berry officiating.
