Walter Jimmie O'Field's Obituary
Walter "Jimmie" OField, 82, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born January 11, 1936 in Clarksburg, WV. He was preceded in death by his mother Alice Jeanette Whitake and son Michael Joseph OField. He is survived by his wife, Mary OField; three children James Walter OField, Jimmie Ray OField and Valerie Jo OField; four grandchildren Dustin OField, Leauna OField, Jennifer (Capello) Cisneros and Shanda (Lee) Zimmerman; three great grandchildren Jada Bucy, Sydney Williams and Ava Zimmerman; sister Marlene Bedker; special daughter-in-law Jenny OField; special neighbor and friend Jack Chapman; and special niece Susan Billups. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. Funeral service will be conducted 12 noon Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Memorial Burial Park, Wheelersburg, Ohio. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the funeral home.
