Wanda Fierce's Obituary
Wanda June Fierce, 83, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. Born on December 9, 1940, in Washington Court House, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Delmer and Rosetta Stover Thornton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Fierce; brother, Clifford Thorton, and sister, Edith Shoemaker. Wanda retired from Huntington Federal Bank. She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Phil) Kincaid of Lesage, WV; 2 grandchildren, Michelle and Ashley Brown, and 2 nephews, Carroll Shoemaker and Eric Thornton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio, with Pastor Brady Lipscomb, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens in Gallipolis, Ohio.
