Lots of prayers

Warren was the one who came to the back of the church and talked with me about getting saved. I credit him to me getting saved that day. He was my first pastor. We went to his church for around 2 years. Love of God memories there. I hate to know he has gone on, but I plan to see him again one day.

I remember when I went to see him about preaching at Bell Chapel. He told me he had backslide. This may not seem like a good memory but it doesn't end there. Later there was a preacher that was trying to take over Bell Chapel because we had a few hundred dollars saved for the finishing of the shelter we planned to later make our church. We had the foundation and roof finished. At this point I had backslide but under no circumstances did I want this guy to bleed dry the savings. I took a chance and talked to Warren again. This time he had given his life back to the Lord! He was pastor of a country church that had an out house. I offered him Bell Chapel that was paid off and had indoor plumping. He took it. I was not in good standing with the Lord but because of Warren Bell Chapel was saved!
I also remember that Warren was the pastor of the church years ago that I got saved in and though people complained that the Ohio River was too cold to baptize anyone. They was afraid Warren would get sick going in there in the winter. When I ask him he had the faith to believe God would take care of him. I was baptized and God kept Warren well. He had the faith and God was faithful

Lots of prayers! I went & seen him & Marjorie about month ago. He was a sweetheart!

Prayers for all, grew up with him in Crown City, lots of memories. God Bless all
