Waylen Cash Hicks' Obituary
Waylen Cash Hicks, born on October 24, 2025, peacefully passed in the arms of his parents on April 27, 2026, at six months old. In his six months, he taught everyone around him how to hold onto hope and celebrate the small victories.
Waylen is the beloved son of Jarren and Emily Hicks and a precious brother to Walker Gorby. He is also cherished by his grandparents James and Christina Gorby and Brandon and Jessica Hicks; as well as his loving aunts and uncles Drew and Erica Jenkins, Cara Gorby, Trey Hicks, Justin Hicks, and Jenna Hicks; and his cousins Lilly, Lucy, and Archie Jenkins.
Waylen’s smile is remembered by many and missed by all. He had been through more in six months than many go through in a lifetime and still remained the happiest baby. We are forever thankful for the time we spent with him, but now he is in the loving arms of Jesus.
