Wayne "Sonny" Claude Rice's Obituary
Wayne "Sonny" Claude Rice, 70, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV, in the comfort of his family.
He was born on March 13, 1955. He was a hardworking and devoted husband to his wife of 37 years, Fleta Ann Rice, whom he loved more than anyone on this earth.
He is survived by three stepchildren; grandchildren; sister Kathy; and several nieces and nephews. He was a stubborn soul but loved his wife and family like no other. He will never know the great love and memories that remain of him.
Graveside Service will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Tim Porter officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH.
