Donna, Barb and I are truly saddened for your loss. We know what kind of relationship the 2 of you had and know that he now is in the hands of the father and will continue to look out for you until you meet again. I have a lot of fond memories from our childhood, school days, and sports with him and all his family. He was a special person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We met Wetzel and you in the Air Force while birthing our second children! What a fast friendship developed. Wetzel was a no nonsense guy who made it clear he loved the Lord. We had so many fun times together that will always be in our memories. He was a great Dad and dearly loved his kids and grandkids. They were the loves of his life just after you. You guys were so close and we always were amazed at your relationship. Together since high school and eyes for none other. I can still hear him calling...'Donna Jean' in that loud voice of his. Our lives were blessed to have known him. We'll see him again one day, but our hearts are empty knowing he is not by your side right now. Stay strong and trust God to bring you through this valley.
