We know what kind of relationship the 2 of you had and know that he now is in the hands of the father and will continue to look out for you until you meet again. \r\nI have a lot of fond memories from our childhood, school days, and sports with him and all his family. We met Wetzel and you in the Air Force while birthing our second children! What a fast friendship developed. Wetzel was a no nonsense guy who made it clear he loved the Lord. We had so many fun times together that will always be in our memories. He was a great Dad and dearly loved his kids and grandkids. They were the loves of his life just after you. You guys were so close and we always were amazed at your relationship. Together since high school and eyes for none other. I can still hear him calling..."Donna Jean" in that loud voice of his. Our lives were blessed to have known him. We'll see him again one day, but our hearts are empty knowing he is not by your side right now. Stay strong and trust God to bring you through this valley. I think Wetzel may be the grandson of Nettie Bias. She was a great influence in my life. I wish to express my heartfelt sympathy to his family.

I’ll miss dear Brother Wetzel. He was a vital part of the Tri-State Bible College family since the seventies and a good friend.
