William Alfred Blake's Obituary
William A. Blake, 78, of Red House, WV passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. He was born April 14, 1945, in Akron, Ohio. William is survived by his wife, Donna Blake; children, Steve (Millie) Blake, Stephanie Blake (Mike) Sanders, Robin Stump and Phillip Blake; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hope; and a son William Scott Blake. William was a U.S. Army Veteran, 101 First Born Special Forces Unit serving during the Vietnam War and worked as a truckdriver for 42 years. There will be a memorial service held 12 noon Thursday October 12, 2023, at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, WV.
