William Ray Franklin's Obituary
William Ray Franklin, 81, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Saturday July 22, 2023 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born May 3, 1942 in Slagle, WV to the late Chester and Rosie Smith Franklin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers. He is survived by five sisters Winona Fraley of Huntington, WV, Dorothy Ewing of Columbus, Ohio, Frances Clay of Chesapeake, Ohio, Brenda Crum of Huntington, and Vickie Roach of Proctorville; a niece and best friend Vern; and many other nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday July 27, 2023 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery, Branchland, WV.
