William Mark Hannah's Obituary
William Mark Hannah of Ashland, Kentucky was born in Hinton, West Virginia on February 23, 1947, the son of Charles R. Hannah and June Sinar Hannah. He died on November 8, 2025, at the age of 78. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Charles Edward Hannah, mother-in-law Mary Mooring, father-in-law Oliver Mooring, brothers-in-law Michael Mooring and Gary Ewing. Mark is survived by his deeply loved wife Kay Hannah of 57 years, greatly admired stepchildren: Monica Muth Martin (Ralph) Ashland, KY, and James Michael Muth (Naomi) Marco Island, FL, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters: Joyce Gwinn (Al) Winchester, KY, Linda Ewing, Betty Cales (Randy), Richard Hannah (Colleen) all of Hinton, WV, and Al Hannah (Susan) Daniels, WV. Early in his career he spent many years with Combined Insurance Company where he rapidly became a district manager. Mark spent most of his years developing various businesses in the Scottsdale, AZ area. He held several patents and traveled throughout several countries as a result of those businesses. Mark and Kay returned to Ashland, KY in 2002. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Ashland. A private family service will be held at a later date.
