William Edward Pitts' Obituary
William Edward Pitts, 75, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Monday October 22, 2018 at St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born December 9, 1942. He was preceded in death by his mother Elaine Boster Pitts. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Helen Frame Pitts; father William H. Pitts; three children Anita (Jason) Barss, Angela (William) Smith, and William T. Pitts; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one brother Steve (Robin) Pitts. He was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church, Chesapeake, Ohio. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday October 25, 2018 at Union Missionary Baptist Church, Chesapeake, Ohio by Pastor Randy See and Nathan Payne. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Huntington City Mission or Tri-State Bible College.
