We are sad to announce that on May 26, 2021, at the age of 88, William R. Saunders of South Elgin, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Stephen Saunders and Fern Saunders (Vernon); his wife Joyce Ann Byrd; his children, Pamela A. Saunders, William C. Saunders and Steven R. Saunders; his grandchildren, Jeremy Bohl (Sharon), Melissa Schwarz (Tim), William Saunders (Taylor), Scarlett Gonzalez (Luis) and Jason Bohl; his granddaughter-in-law Melissa Bohl; his great grandchildren, Ashley, Layla, Delaney, Samantha Bohl, Kathryn, Aleah, Kevin, Nathan Sanders, Angelique, Isabelle, Hannah, Andrew, Rosalyn, Luis II, Gonzalez, Meadow and Ariya Schwarz; and his brother Stephen Saunders (Linda). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews. A committal service will be held on Thursday, June 3rd 2021 at 3:00 PM at the Miller Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Alzheimer's Association http://www.alz.org.
