William E. Wylie's Obituary
WILLIAM E. WYLIE, 89, of South Point, OH, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 2, 2014, in Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. A memorial service will be 1:30 PM Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Dr. E. Scott Mann officiating. William was born February 5, 1925, in Athalia, OH, a son of the late Robert and Eva Gilmore Wylie. He was retired from the U.S. Government, a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of Burlington Wesleyan Independent Church, and a member of South Point Masonic Lodge #497. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Donald, and Kenny Wylie. William is survived by his wife, Dorothy Kheune Wylie; three children and their spouses, Daniel and Paulette Wylie, Edward and Ramona Wylie, and Sandra and William Ferguson; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and one sister, Donna Lee Sanford. At William's request, there will be no visitation. Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH, is in charge of arrangements.
