Williiam Craig Howard's Obituary
William "Craig" Howard, 66, of South Point, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.He was born November 10, 1956, the son of the late Herman and Ruby Howard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Michael "Big Mike" Howard, of South Point, Ohio. He is survived three sisters, Jackie Lisath, Veronica Johnson and Tamara (Timmy) Jones all of South Point, Ohio; one brother, Roger (Lavern) Howard of Lithonita, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He also had a special Goddaughter, Danielle McGinnis.He was a 1975 graduate of South Point High School. William moved to Texas in the early 1980's where he lived for twenty plus years. He was employed at Jack Sherman Dealership in Midland, Texas and he was very active in leadership capacity including Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Project Blueprint, United Way Executive Board, Midland Youth Centers, as well as the Board of Trustees of Midland College for two terms. William loved gardening and working in his flowers and making everyone laugh.The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers, kindness and support through this difficult time. We also want to thank Abbott Home Health, Hospice of Huntington, WV and Hall Funeral Home.No services will be held.
