Wilma Jean Floyd's Obituary
Wilma Jean Floyd, 98, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. She was born February 21, 1926, in Mason County, WV daughter of the late Abraham and Pearl Rollins Rhodes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Estel Glenn (E.G.) Floyd; six sisters, Tenna Rollins, Bertha Atchley, Mista Wyant, Georgia Casto, Blanche Davis and Leota Rollins; and two brothers, Albert Rhodes, and Charles Rhodes. She is survived by one son Jim L. Floyd of Chesapeake, Ohio, one daughter-in-law Rita Floyd of South Point, Ohio; two grandchildren, Shawn Floyd of Chesapeake, Ohio and Chriscinda Withrow of Proctorville, Ohio; five great grandchildren, Ezekiel, Brylee, Kingston, Hoyt, and Collier. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV.
