Wilma Elizabeth Gibbs 1931 - 2017
Wilma Elizabeth Gibbs, 85, of South Point, Ohio passed away Monday July 3, 2017 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV. She was born August 16, 1931 in Logan, WV. She was preceded in death by a daughter Stephanie Gibbs and numerous siblings. She is survived by her husband of 69 years Leo S. Gibbs; one son Glenn S. Gibbs; grandson Paris Smith; best friend Margaret Pennington; sister Betty Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Douglas High School and was secretary for Marshall University. She was a docent at the Huntington Museum of Art. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Hospice of Huntington and St. Mary’s Medical Center. A private family service will be held at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
