My first memory, was when my dad, Lloyd Graham, brought Barb to our home, for lunch and to introduce her to his adult children. My first impression was that Barb had a true sense of herself. She wasn't trying to impress any of us, or try to take our mother's place,(whom had passed a few years earlier). She was very kind and straight forward. She told me, as we walked outside, that she met my father on a seniors travel vacation group . She said she liked my father but was not ready for anything serious or marriage... Well, somehow my dad won her over, because they were married a few months later. My dad was smitten with Barb, which was sweet to watch.
I truly loved Barb's sense of adventure, her involvement with book clubs, classes that she and my dad took together. She loved dancing and had no problem getting out there on the dance floor, even if my dad wasn't .
😊👏
Barb was wonderful & patient with my dad. She always spoke highly of her sons, their wives, her grandchildren. She loved all that they were doing & what they had accomplished.
Barb inspired me, with her constant effort in exercising and doing everything possible to maintain her health. She was a wonderful & kind person, to her friends & also made new friends, wherever she was.
I will miss her voice and her presence.
To Brenden, Bill , your wives and family, Dana & I, I feel your great loss.
Till we meet again in heaven, I love you Barb.
