I met Barbar in 1979 when she, Greg. & Brad moved into the house next door. Michael & I became fast friends with them. So many memories but the one memory of her that showed her true character was when she hurt her ankle right before we left for a day trip to Snowshoe. She never said a word about it. She didn't want to ruin every one's trip. She was a trooper, she tried to learn to ski. We didn't know until we tried to remove her boots & her ankle was so swollen we almost couldn't get it off. We took her to the ER as soon as we got home.
I will miss & Love you forever and cherish all my memories of you. RIP Barbie
Barb and I became best friends in high school. I was 15 and
she was 16. We were inseparable. Barb shared everything with
me. Her hopes, her dreams, her fears, her family, and yes
even her clothes. Barb and her family became the family I didn't
have. They all brought me into the nest, and nurtured me and
loved me unconditionally. I cannot express, even now, 50 years
later, how wonderful it was. I will never forget how much Barb
and this family did for me. My gratitude and affection will never
diminish. I feel empty today after this loss. I will miss you.
