Bernie came to rescue when I needed someone to take me for physical therapy after a fracture and could not drive. That's when we became Miss Daisy and Hoke. He was a special friend.

I used to stay with Nola and Bernie , Amy and Shannon. He was a hard worker. Loved Nola and his girls. He was always good to me. Nola loved him so very much. Now they are together.
Nola was a favorite cousin. She and I were close. I loved Bernie , Nola , Amy and Shannon.
So sorry for your loss girls and your families.

I never met Mr. Browning in person, but I heard many stories because he helped raise one of my best friends, Amy. From the stories, I gather that Amy's mother and father filled her with love, courage, and spirit. Amy is always the happiest when she is on her way home to WVA. Amy always said that she would put the car on autopilot because it could find the way home no matter where she started from. Rest in peace, Mr. Browning. You will always be loved and remembered by your loving family.

I got to know Bernie as a neighbor just down the hill from he and his family on Pea Ridge back in the early 80's, and working at Plyburn's Pharmacy in Barboursville on occasion while I was a student at Marshall. He was always generous to share his knowledge of medicine, and his sense of humor and laugh was contagious. My deepest condolences goes to his family during this time.

Bernie was one of my favorite cousins. My brother Joe Boy and Bernie spent a lot of time together. Bernie's mom Aunt Mae could make the best homemade donuts. The last time I saw Bernie was at my brother's funeral. My prayers are with the family. Love you.
