Rest in Peace, Dearest Mrs. Callicoat ~ Your joy and spunk will light heaven up because it sure did when I visited you at your beautiful home with Janie when we were brand-new public-school teachers...a few years ago. You doted on us and cooked up some superb comfort food. The fun memory was of Mrs. Callicoat demonstrating for Janie and I the "exercise routines" that she and her friends learned. She had specific music for each routine on a cassette player. We laughed like three girls in the downstairs rec room! As I write this memory, I am softly smiling, remembering that fine weekend with my friend Janie and her kind and generous mom, Mrs. Callicoat. XOXO
