I rented a 2 story white house in Proctorville, Oh. Carl and Bobbie both were so good to me. I would sit and talk with them when I paid my rent and they always made me feel like I was family. I loved the summer months of coming home to bags hanging on my front door knob with a few delicious home grown red tomatoes, squash, cucumbers and green beens. I'm so sorry for their loss of Carl, he was such a very kind man.

Uncle Carl was so kind and loving. Whenever he looked at you and gave you that big smile, it made you feel like a million , and so very special. He really "saw" people , as a child or adult, his kind eyes and heart let you know he was listening and caring about you. His sincerity and smile is a gift that I will always cherish. Thank you, Aunt Bobbi, Carma and Luann for sharing him with us . My heart breaks for your loss. He was so blessed to have such a loving family , and all of you to care for and to love him . I hope Carl knew how much of an impact he had on my life. I wouldn't be who I am today without him and the others out at the deer camp and the farm. I paid attention probably more than he thought I did of all the life lessons Carl and the others taught me to carry out through life that made me the man and father I am today. I have not forgotten the $10 promise to Carl that I made all those years ago as a young teen, and since I never broke that promise, I'll be digging that $10 bill out of the safety deposit box to have a Stroh's beer on him. Bobbi, Carma and Luann, Your Dad was a sweetheart. He was always so welcoming to the girls as they ran in and out of his house. My family has been in your shoes and we got through remembering all the fun things we shared and the conversations we remembered.
