Carl "Bevo" L. Ellis' Obituary
Carl L. " Bevo" Ellis, 87, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Monday November 4, 2024 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born May 24, 1937 in Chesapeake, Ohio to the late Marshall and Inez Marie Ellis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Wanda Reapp. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Barbara Ellis; two daughters Carma (Coerte) Voorhees of Proctorville and Luann Goodman of Proctorville, Ohio; three grandchildren Randi (Monty) Kayes, Elizabeth (Paul) Faudree, and Joshua (Breanna) Goodman; three great grandchildren Ellis and Evie Kayes, and Aria Goodman; and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of Proctorville Masonic Lodge #550 F& AM, American Legion Post #16, and Barboursville Moose Lodge #2586. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason Valley of Cincinnati, El Hasa Shrine, and Shriners International. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday November 9, 2024 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday November 9, 2024 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to El Hasa Shrine or Hospice of Huntington.
