Brother Charles "Little Charles" Hughes
We the members of the Redeeming Grace Baptist Church of Portland OR, pause here today, to sincerely extend our deepest sympathy to the family of our much-beloved friend and Brother Mr. Charles Hughes. We can say without contradiction, that in his passing, a committed, dependable, encouraging, and hardworking soul is at rest.
In the passing of Brother Hughes, we truly recognize that we have lost a friend and faithful member of the men's ministry at Full Gospel Assembly Church of Huntington W.Va., under the direction of Bishop Samuel Moore a blessed man of God. By his friendly disposition, and unselfish dealings, he endeared himself to many, and this memory will be a worthy monument to his life.
Be it therefore resolved, that though his presence will be greatly missed by his loved ones and those to whom he had endeared himself; we accept the Christian submission of God's will, His calling Brother Charles Hughes home. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the family and commend them to the Divine Comforter who is able to encourage strengthen and sustain all who call upon Him.
Be it further resolved that we will forever cherish his memory and emulate his admirable traits, and look forward with joy to meeting him in the home which he knew, for so many years was being prepared for him in Glory. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord; whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's."

In loving memory of my main man Big C AKA "Charlie Brown". I will miss you my brother even though I keep you in my heart. I can still hear your laugh and all your corny jokes! Lol Everybody you knew you gave them a nickname...you big jokester 😂 You called me Uncle Boo and I called you Charlie Brown...the same name your beloved mother called you RIP "Betty Boop" I'm at peace now knowing that you made it back to your favorite girl 😇
Man, I can still see that big ole smile and hear your laughter as you heckled every bodies teams throughout the years. We only met 20 years ago but we shared so many stories and passed so many hours, days and years together...just talking about family and real life situations. My mother still has our picture on her fridge (where you cut our pics out and placed them in a beautiful house). My lil nephew said, "Wow Uncle Boo and Big C live in a mansion! Lol They was too young back then to know that we was really in FCI Ashland 😂 Bro, you made my worst days great as we sat on the top tier joking everybody that walked by 😃 I remember when you would stay up all night writing music and you would sing me my favorite song "Change is gonna come" by Al Green....but Al Green didn't have nothing on your version of it my brother....You Made It Your Song!!! In fact you flipped every song that was a hit and did your own version of it and made it fire!! 🔥 You put that Big C sauce on it and nobody could do it like my main man Charlie Brown ❤️🙏🏼.
Curly is holding it down my brother and every time I see him he puts a smile in my heart...I know you are smiling up there cause he's my brother now like the rest of your children and family. I love you my brother...please watch over us up there which I know you will but the funny part to me is now we have a guardian angel that's a big jokester 😂
