Charles Edward Snavely's Obituary
Charles Edward Snavely, 84 of Proctorville, OH went to be with the Lord October 6, 2023. Ed was born November 15, 1938, in Guntersville, AL to the late Herbert and Hazel Snavely. Ed is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Snavely; sister Martha Ann Reagan and brother-in-law James Reagan of Huntsville, AL; three children John Snavely, daughter in law Sandy Snavely of Union, KY, Andy Snavely of Dallas, TX and Susan Lawson of Huntington, WV; two granddaughters, Cassidy Scala (Nick) of Columbus, OH. and Victoria Snavely of Union, KY and two great grandchildren Lula and Luca Scala of Columbus, OH., and niece Denise Reagan Merritt (TJ) of Oakland, CA.Ed was retired from Inco Alloys, Member of America Society for Non-Destructive Testing and a member of New Hope United Methodist Church, Proctorville, OH. Ed loved golfing with his favorite foursome and fishing with dear friends and family. He will be greatly missed. Memorial contributions can be made to Lake Guntersville W.E.T. Foundation at mylakeguntersville.com to preserve and protect Ed's favorite fishing hole. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
