Charles Wallace Workman's Obituary
Charles Wallace Workman, 77, of Proctorville, OH, peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at home. He was born February 27, 1945, the son of the late Harold and Marie Workman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Leslie Gertrude Holland and Minnie Agnes Workman; one brother, Harold Leon Workman.Charles served on the Fairland BOE for 28 years and was a member of the BPOE. He played on the 1961 Fairland Dragons "Untouchable" team. In 1997 he retired from the Insulators Local 80 but continued working by running his mowing business. Charles loved upkeeping all of his yards.Charles is survived by one son, Doug Workman (Connie); three daughters, Jana Flynn (Jason), Michelle Bailey and Teal Thayer; one sister, Betty Moser; seven grandchildren, Chrystina Scoglietti, Benjamin Workman, Alexander Workman, Thayer Flynn (Patti), Maddilin Flynn, Conner Flynn, Cordell Bailey and extended family grandchildren Callaway Rowe, Finnigan Rowe, Soleil Rowe, Brianna Brown and Layla Brown.The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Hospice of Huntington. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider making donations to Huntington Hospice House in Charles' name.A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday October 26, 2022 at Hall Funeral Home & Crematory in Proctorville, OH with Pastor Jeff Black officiating.
