Goodbye for now dear friend. Always together in spirit, I'll see you on the other side. HP

One of the first IBEW Journeyman Electricians I ever worked with has passed away. I can honestly say they don't make them like they used too. Max was one of those thinking guys. He would stand and stare at something with his hand on his chin. He would take a couple of measurements, walk off then come back with the parts and a perfectly bent piece of conduit to do the job. He would teach you even when you didn't know he was. He taught me how to tie a bowline. He smacked my hands about 100 times until I learned to do it right. He was a great union man, serving on committees and setting standards that are unfortunately slipping today. He helped me out and bailed me out and sometimes he made me figure it out. He was a hard worker, a friend, a good golfer and a mentor. Thanks Max. I am a better person because I knew you. My condolences to Mark and the Singer family

My prayers for Pauline and family. Also prayers and love for sistersOnaMae,myrt, lulabelle and Gloria Ann. Max will be missed by many. Sincerely,Pat Gillen.
