Cynthia Kay Farley's Obituary
Cynthia Kay Farley, 71, of Chesapeake, OH passed away Thursday November 10, 2022 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born February 18, 1951 to the late Chester Paul and Ruth McDowell Lewis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Robert Sterling McDowell, maternal grandparents Earl Ray and Edith McDowell; paternal grandparents Martha and Elmer Lewis; and several aunts and uncles. Cynthia Kay is survived by her husband of 53 years Fred Farley Jr.; son Fred Farley III and Michael Farley; daughter Cindy Anne(Donald); sister Kathy(Donald) Shannon; grandchildren: Devan Ross Farley, Donald Hunter Paul Mabes, Edith Ruth Anne(Billy) Gregory, Jason Don(Jamie) Stapleton, Jaxson Hatten; great-grandchildren: Hunter Gage Stapleton, Alex Dewayne Gregory, Gracie Hatten and a host of nieces and nephews. She was a 1969 graduate of Shady Spring High School in Shady Spring, WV. She worked for Petroleum Products Inc., One Stop Shop and Mansour's Market in Huntington, WV. Cynthia Kay was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church and River Front Baptist Church both in Proctorville, OH. Funeral Service will be held 2p.m. Monday November 14, 2022 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory Proctorville, OH with Pastor Dale Barnett and Pastor David Blake officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Devan Farley, Donald Mabes, Jason Stapleton, Barry Farley Jr., Billy Gregory and Michael Dement.
